Google Shopping is a product search service that Google provides which can display your online products right in a user's Google search results screen. Merchants can leverage this service by submitting their store and online product information to Google, giving the merchant the opportunity to be placed in front of the eyes of Google's sizable user base.

In order for you to get your Miva Merchant store working with Google Shopping, you need a Google account. The first thing you'll need to do is use Google’s webmaster tools to claim your Miva Merchant store’s domain. Browse to this URL, and log into it using your Google account information. At this site you have to claim your Miva Merchant store so that Google understands that it's your property. You'll have to enter in your store’s URL here and follow the steps Google outlines, which includes downloading an HTML file and ftping it into the root folder of your Miva Merchant store. Once you've completed the claiming process, your Miva Merchant store address will appear listed in your Google webmaster tools like so. Now that we have that squared away, let's login to the Google Merchant Center. Once again we've included this link below the video for your convenience. We’ll be integrating your Miva Merchant store with a Google Merchant Center so that Miva Merchant can send information about your store and the products you are selling online to Google. Because of this, we have to make sure that your Google Merchant Center account is properly configured to receive and use your store information. Once you've logged into the Google Merchant Center, you'll need to make sure that your shipping settings and your text settings are configured and that they reflect the way shipping and taxes handled in your Miva Merchant store. If you need assistance walking you through this, have a look at Google's own documentation on setting up tax and shipping here. After you configure your Google Merchant Center accordingly, log into your Miva Merchant store Admin and click into Marketplaces and then Google Shopping. From here, click on the “Add” button. A modal window will pop up that helps you add your Google account to Miva Merchant. If you're already logged into your Google account, you'll see it on the upper right corner of this modal window. Make sure you're logged into the correct Google account up here and then click on the “Allow” button. Once you've done that, you've successfully connected your Google Merchant Center to your Miva Merchant store and you're ready to add products to Google Shopping.
