Advanced Mode vs. Point & Click#

Within the Pages section, administrators can explore various page functionalities, such as the Product page, which governs the layout of product listings. Within the Product Display Layout, crucial elements such as product names, codes, and prices can be configured. Notably, the page offers both “Point-and-Click” and “Advanced” modes for template customization, with the latter providing direct access to underlying code.

Advanced#

While editing page templates, administrators must exercise caution, particularly when transitioning between “Point-and-Click” and “Advanced” modes. Changes made in “Point-and-Click” mode can inadvertently overwrite previous customizations, reverting the template to its default state. Therefore, it’s advisable to primarily work in “Advanced” mode to avoid unintended modifications and ensure consistency in template design.
