Marketplace - Etsy Listings

Use this tab to:

• Create and edit Etsy listings.
• View the existing Etsy listings in your Miva Merchant store.

You can look at Etsy listings for individual products at: Catalog > Edit Product > Marketplace - Etsy Product Listings Tab

Editing an Etsy Listing

If you select an Etsy listing you'll see a few buttons that let you edit the listing.

• If the listing does not have Variants, the buttons look like this:



• If you select a listing that does have variants, the buttons look like this:



• If your browser window isn't wide enough to show all the buttons, the edit listing buttons will be collapsed into an ellipsis icon:



Adjust Price

Use the Adjust Price Button to change the price of an Etsy product listing if the product does not have Variants. To change the listing price of a product with variants, see Update Variations.



1. Go to one of these screens:

> Marketplaces - Etsy > Listings tab, or

> Catalog > Products tab > edit product > Marketplace - Etsy Product Listings tab

2. Select an Etsy listing and click Adjust Price.
3. In the Adjust Price on Etsy dialog box, enter a new price for the item and click Adjust Price.

Update Inventory

Use Update Inventory to change the quantity of items available in an Etsy listing. You can use Update Inventory for products with and without Variants.

1. Go to one of these screens:

> Marketplaces - Etsy > Listings tab, or

> Catalog > Products tab > edit product > Marketplace - Etsy Product Listings tab

2. Select an Etsy listing and click Update Inventory.
3. In the Update Inventory on Etsy dialog box, enter a inventory for the item and click Update Inventory.



The Inventory field shows the quantity that is currently available in the Etsy listing. There are 5 vases available in our Etsy listing. If you are tracking inventory in your Miva Merchant store, your Miva inventory is shown on the right. In our example, we have 100 vases in our Miva store. If you are not tracking inventory in your Miva store, the Miva inventory is shown as "N/A".

Update Variations

Use Update Variations to change the price and availability for Etsy listings that have Variants.

1. Go to one of these screens:

   > Marketplaces - Etsy > Listings tab, or

   > Catalog > Products tab > edit product > Marketplace - Etsy Product Listings tab

2. Select an Etsy listing and click Update Variations.
3. In the Update Variations dialog box:
   • Double-click on a variation (variant). You can then change the variation price.
   • Click on the blue slider icon to make the variation unavailable in the Etsy listing.
4. When you are done, click Close



In the example on the left, we're editing a variation listing that was created with the Combined Attributes option.

In the example on the right, we're editing a variation listing that was created with the Ignore inventory and pricing option.

Delete Listing vs End Listing

When you create an Etsy listing from the admin interface, or download a listing from your Etsy store, there are really two copies of the same listing: one in your Miva store and one in your Etsy store. You can delete either or both.

• Use Delete Listing to remove the listing from your Miva store. The listing will still show up in your Etsy store.
1. Go to one of these screens:

> Marketplaces - Etsy > Listings tab, or

> Catalog > Products tab > edit product > Marketplace - Etsy Product Listings tab

2. Select an Etsy listing and click Delete Listing .
• Use End Listing to remove the listing from your Etsy store. The listing will still show up in your Miva store with a status of "Removed".

Other Actions on Etsy Listings

Update Listings from Etsy

When you create an Etsy listing from the admin interface or use the Link Listing feature, you create a copy of the Etsy listing in your Miva store. If you sign into your Etsy store and change the listing, use the Update Listings button to copy those changes back to your Miva store.

Update Shipping

You only need the Update Shipping button if you are using a 3rd party tool to update the shipment status of orders.

• If you edit an Etsy order in the admin interface and you change the status to shipped, the status change is automatically uploaded to your Etsy store.
• If you change the shipment status of an order in your Etsy store, you can use the Get Orders Button to download the shipment status from your Etsy store to your Miva store.
• If you are using a third-party tool to edit orders, like ShipWorks, the change to shipment status is automatically made in your Miva Merchant store, but you must use the Update Shipping button to update the shipping status in your Etsy store.

Link Listing vs Create Listing

• Use the Create Listing (and Create Variation Listing) buttons to create a new Etsy listing from the admin interface.
• The Link Listing button essentially downloads an existing Etsy listing so you can manage the listing from the admin interface. To use Link Listing, you must have a matching product in your Miva store. If the Etsy listing is for a coffee mug, you must have a coffee mug product in your Miva store.
• The Create Miva Merchant Product(s) option allows you to look up existing Etsy product listings to create Miva Merchant product listings. Select this option and the Listing Add Product Lookup dialog appears with available Etsy listings.
1. Create a matching product in your Miva Merchant store.

   In our example, we've got a coffee mug for sale in our Etsy store, but we don't have a coffee mug product in our Miva store, so we'll create one.

   > Catalog > Products tab > Add Product

2. Link the Etsy listing to a product in your Miva store.

2.1. Go to one of these screens:

> Marketplaces - Etsy > Listings tab, or

> Catalog > Products tab > edit product > Marketplace - Etsy Product Listings tab.

2.2. Click > Link Listing.

2.3. In the Link Listing dialog box:

2.3.1. Product Code: Enter the code of the Miva product.

2.3.2. Click Add.



2.4. You'll see another dialog box called "Listing Lookup". Miva goes to your Etsy store, gets every listing and puts them in this dialog box.



2.5. Select an Etsy listing and click Link Selected Listing. In our example, we've got an Etsy listing for a "Fancy Mug" and we're going to link it to the "miva_mug" product in our Miva store.

3. Back in the Listings tab, we've essentially got a copy of the Etsy listing that we can manage from the admin interface.



Get Orders Button

When a customer buys something in your Etsy store, you can download the order to your Miva store. The advantage is that you can manage all of your orders from one location.

1. Use the Get Orders button to download Etsy orders to your Miva store.
2. View and edit the orders in the admin interface, for example, mark an order as shipped. See: Order Processing.
3. When you change the order status in the admin interface, the new shipment status is automatically uploaded to your Etsy store.

Log Console

The Log Console tab is used mainly by Miva Merchant support to troubleshoot the connectivity between your Miva Merchant store and your Etsy store.
