User Interface

CSS Resources

This section describes all of the options available from the CSS Resources tab.

In order for the CSS resource to be output, all three of the following criteria must be met. The CSS resource must be:

  1. Either global, or assigned to a page that you expect to be output;
  2. Assigned to a resource group, and
  3. That resource group must be output in a template that gets rendered on the page.

Go to Menu > User Interface > CSS Resources

CSS Resources

Code – Used to uniquely identify each CSS Resource

Type – There are three Resource Types supported:

File Path – The relative path to the local file or the absolute path to the external file. “N/A” for inline CSS tags.

Tag Attributes – Preview of the CSS output including custom tag attributes that you have added.

Global – Toggle button determines whether the CSS resource appears on all pages. If the resource is not global, you can select which pages you want it to appear on.

Active – Toggle button determines whether the resource is active or not. A resource must be active to be output to the page.

Check Select Multiple Records. Click on the select button to select entries in the list. Then click on the checkboxes next to the CSS entrie(s) you want to edit.
Clear Clear Selection. Click on the clear button to deselect all entries previously selected.
CSV Export to CSV. Click the CSV button to export the CSS resource(s) to a CSV file.
Edit

Edit CSS Resource(s). Click on the edit button to edit the CSS entrie(s). From here you can change the Code, upload a CSS file and edit the Tag Attributes. Click on the sliders to set the CSS resource to Global and/or Active (left/gray is off, right/blue is on).

CSS Resource

To edit Tag Attributes, click on the edit button Edit. The Tag Attributes for Resource: xxx dialog displays. You can export to CSV, change the names and values, add and delete tag attributes here. See Edit Attributebelow for details.
Delete Delete CSS Resource(s). Delete the selected entrie(s) in the list.
Edit Source

Edit CSS Resource Source. Note: this button does not appear when external or multiple CSS resources are selected.

This button launches a text window containing the CSS source file for editing.

CSS Resource File

Click Update to save your changes or Cancel to discard them.

Edit Attributes

Edit Tag Attributes. Note: this button does not appear when multiple CSS resources are selected.

This button brings up the Tag Attributes for Resource: xxx dialog.

Tag Attribute

Click on the CSV button to export attribute(s) to a CSV file. Click on the delete button Delete to delete attribute(s). Click on the add button Add to add attribute(s).

Click on the edit button Edit to change the Name or Value of attribute(s). When you are done editing, click the save button Save or cancel Cancelto discard changes.

Pages

Pages

Manage Linked Pages for Selected CSS Resource.

Note: this button does not appear when multiple CSS resources are selected or when the resource is global.

The Pages button brings up a dialog that allows you to assign the CSS resource to specific pages. If no pages are assigned and the resource is not marked as global, the CSS resource will not be output.

Click the slider button(s) in the Assigned column for the pages you want to assign the CSS resource to. Click Close when you are done.

Linked Pages for CSS Resource: cssui

Resource Groups

Manage Linked Resource Groups For Selected CSS Resource. Note: this button does not appear when multiple CSS resources are selected.

This button allows you to assign Resource Groups to the CSS resource. Click the slider button(s) in the Assigned column for the groups you want to assign the CSS resource to. You can add new Resource Groups via the Add button.

Click Close when you are done.
