Content
A Content Section is like a container for template code. It can hold just about anything: images, text, JavaScript, CSS, etc. Just like Images and Banners, your ReadyTheme may come with one or more predefined Content Sections that you can modify.
- Because a Content Section is mostly template code, you need to know something about template code to modify it.
- If you want to add a new Content Section, you would have to manually edit the storefront page (SFNT) template code to get it to show up in your store.
To Edit a ReadyTheme Content Section
- Go to
> ReadyTheme > Content Sections tab. - In the Content Sections tab, double-click on one of the Content Section records.
- In the Edit Content Section dialog box:
3.1. Make any necessary changes
3.2. Click Save
| Code: | The code uniquely identifies this Content Section record in the admin interface. |
| Name: | A display name for the Content Section record. It is only shown in the admin interface. |
| Description: | Use this field to add a note to describe the purpose of the Content Section. |
| Content: | Contains all of the template code for the Content Section. To modify this field, you may need to know something about JavaScript, CSS, and Miva template code. |
