In this video let's have a look at how you can add a product to your Miva Merchant 9 store. To add a product, click on catalog in your Quick Links. This will take you into the products tab of your catalog screen. Here you will see any products you already have in your store listed out on the bottom half of this screen. To add a new product, click on the “add product” button which looks like a plus sign, it will prompt you for some basic product information. At the bare minimum you'll want to define a product code and a product name. You may also want to include a product price and a product weight when you add this new product to your store. In this example I'm going to add a classical guitar to my store and I'm going to give it a product code of “class kit” and I'm going to give it a name of “classical guitar.” I'm going to go down to the price field and give it a price tag of $800. I’m not really sure how much our guitar weighs, but for this example I'm going to say it weighs 10 pounds. If you want to give it a description go ahead and type it in the description box. I'm going to copy and paste one for my example and now we’re done. When you're done adding all the details that you'd like, go ahead and click on this “Add” button on top. If you have another product that you want to add after this, go ahead and click on “add more” and it will save this particular product to your store and you will immediately be able to add a second product. When you're done you'll get a message letting you know that you've successfully added the product to your store.
