In this video we'll walk you through how to update the primary navigation menu in the Luxe ReadyTheme.

Let's take a look at the navigation that comes with the Luxe ReadyTheme. If you click over here to the left you'll see that there's a left side fly out menu. This is the primary navigation for the web site.
Let's switch over to our Admin and I'll walk you through the steps to updating your navigation. We're going to start with our top left side fly out menu. You can come down here and click on the ReadyTheme icon. Click on Navigation sets and look for Primary Navigation. Click "Open." You'll see we have quite a few items here. It's easier if you just delete them all and start fresh. To do that, you select them all and click on the trash can.
To create a new navigation item, click on the "Add Navigation Item" icon. I'm going to create an items called "Bow Ties." We'll link it to our category page called "Bow Ties." Now we'll give it a sub category or also known as a Child Navigation item. We'll call it "Wool Bow Ties" and we'll link it to the Wool Bow Ties category and click "Add." So here you can see we have the main category and we have a sub category. Now let's go over to our store and see how this looks. Here we have our main category "Bow Ties" with our sub category of "Wool Bow Ties." If I click on that, it will take us to our category page.
