Etsy’s an online Marketplace where people can buy and sell handmade or vintage or one-of-a-kind items. If you are a Miva Merchant store owner that also lists your products on Etsy, you may want to have a look at Miva Merchant’s Etsy integration. The Etsy integration is powered by the Marketplaces module, so make sure you have that module installed before you get started. If the module is installed in your store, you'll see Marketplaces appear here in the menu drop down. If it's not installed, go into “Utilities” and click into the “Add/Remove” modules tab, locate the Marketplaces module in this list and click it “Install” button. Marketplaces is already installed in this store, so I don't have the option to install it again. Go ahead and find it in the menu and click into it and then click on Configuration Settings for Etsy.
To get started with Etsy, we’ll first need to enter in your Etsy account information. Let's click into the Accounts tab and then click the “Add Account” button on top in this pop-up window you will see two fields of information; the account name and the verification code. Ignore them for now, instead click on the “Retrieve Account” button. A pop-up window should open. If you don't see a pop-up window, check your web browser settings to make sure that your pop-up blocker isn't blocking it.
Here you'll want to login to your Etsy account. Scroll down and then confirm that you are allowing your Miva Merchant store access to be able to communicate with your Etsy account. This one generates a verification code which you'll need to copy and then paste into your Miva Merchant store. You can close the window and then paste the verification code in the Verification Code Field and then click the “Add” button. You've now successfully connected your Miva Merchant store to your Etsy account. That's it for this video. In the next video will show you how you can create product listings on Etsy from inside of Marketplaces in your Miva Merchant Admin.
