This video walks you through the steps for configuring your Miva Merchant store to work with your Google Analytics account. First you will need to install the Google Analytics module. To do that, click into Utilities, and then “Add/Remove Modules.” Scroll through this list until you see the Google Analytics module. Click the “Install” button. With the Google Analytics module installed, you will see 3 new tabs under your Utility Settings; Google Analytics Settings, Google Analytics Tracking Code and Google Analytics Ecommerce Code. To associate your Miva Merchant store with your Google Analytics account, click into the Google Analytics Settings tab and type in your Google Analytics ID here. Click “Update” to save your work. Your Miva Merchant store is now working with your Google Analytics account. Google Analytics add a snippet of code to the bottom of each of your store pages. If for whatever reason you need to edit that snippet of code, click into the Google Analytics Tracking Code tab and then click Advanced Mode. Make any changes you might need to this code here and click “Update” to save your work.
There is another snippet of code that Google Analytics adds to your invoice page. To access that snippet, click into the Google Analytics eCommerce Code tab. I'd like to point out that this won't work unless you have your website configured as an e-commerce site inside of your Google Analytics account.
