Once you have a Miva Merchant store running, one of the most important things you’ll need to know is how to manage your orders when they come into your store. You manage your orders from the Order Processing Screen, which you can get to from a number of different ways. From any page in the Store Admin, you can click on the “Menu” from the top left, and click on “Order Processing” to see a list of your orders. Also, if you’re on the Homepage of your Admin, you can click on “Order Processing” from inside the Quick Links pane. Lastly, you can use the “Universal Search Bar” on the upper right to do a search for “Order Processing.”

You will want to click on the result called “Order Processing: Orders.” Notice that there is a Legacy Order Processing. If you click on Legacy Order Processing it will take you to an Order Processing screen that may be familiar to you if you've used older versions of Miva Merchant 5.5 and earlier. It's worth mentioning that there is no organic way to browse to the Legacy Order Processing screen. The only way you can get to it is by doing a search for Order Processing in the Global Search Bar. If you have a need to be able to get to the Legacy Order Processing screen often, you may want to bookmark it by clicking on this red ribbon here. You'll see the ribbon drop down and the screen will be added to your bookmarks menu here. Chances are you won't need the Legacy Order Processing screens, so let's go back to Order Processing.

This is what the Order Processing screen looks like in Miva Merchant 9. You'll see a batch list of all of your orders in your store. If you want to see the details of any of these orders, you can either double click them or select one and then click on this “Edit Orders” button. It looks like a pencil. It will take you to a screen where you can see the details of the order. Unlike the Orders page in Miva Merchant 5.5, you can actually click into different orders from this “Edit Orders” page by clicking on one of the other orders on the left hand pane. From this edit orders page you can access all of the details that pertain to this order, including the customers Ship To and Bill To information, the customers payment information and which products the customers ordered. In the next video we’ll walk you through the steps of taking an order like this from pending to processed.
