Creating Etsy Product Listings
The Etsy Integration is powered by the Marketplaces module, so make sure you have that module installed before you get started.
To configure the Etsy Integration, click on "Menu," then scroll down to "Marketplaces." Now click on "Configuration Settings" for Etsy.
To get started with Etsy you'll first need to enter in your Etsy account information. Click on the "Accounts" tab and then click the "Add Account" button (or + sign) on top. You will get a pop up window with two fields of information; Account Name and Verification Code. Ignore those for now. Click on the "Retrieve Account" button.
A pop up window that looks like this should open.
Another pop up window will appear and let's you know that an application would like to connect to your account. Click the "Allow Access" button at the bottom to allow your Miva Merchant store to communicate with your Etsy account.
You will be given a verification code that you'll need for your Miva Store. Copy the code and paste it in the window we looked at earlier with Account Name and Verification Code. Paste it in the Verification Code field and click on the "Add" button.
You've now successfully connected your Miva Merchant store with your Etsy account.
Once you have connected your Miva Merchant store with your Etsy account you're ready to start creating Etsy Product Listings from inside your Miva Merchant Admin. The first thing you'll need to do is to prep a product.
Open a product. Now click on the tab that says "Marketplace - Etsy Listing Settings."
The title is already pre-populated. You can override it if you want. There are multiple selections you need to fill out based on your product; from Quantity, Shipping Template, Category, etc. Once you have configured all your settings, you can click on the "Update Button" up top.
Shipping Template - You will need to configure your shipping options in Etsy other wise you will not see any options show up under the drop down.
Now, if we create a new Etsy listing for this product, it will pull in all of these settings we just chose.
To create a new Etsy listing click the "Marketplace - Etsy Product Listings" Tab. Here, all you need to do is click on the "Create Listing" button and a new product listing for this shirt product on the Etsy web site. The new item will appear on the batchlist on the screen. Here you can see the information for the listing like the listing name, ID Number, the status of the listing, how many products are left in the listing, the price of the listing, etc. If you want to see the listing itself, just click on the link.
Click on "Menu," "Marketplaces," "Etsy," and then the "Listings" tab. Here you will see all the items that are connected to your Miva Merchant catalog. Here you can see the "Listing Status" as well as the quantities still available on Etsy. If anyone has purchased items from your Etsy shop you can pull in the purchase details as an order record into your Miva stores order processing screen. You can do that by clicking on the "Get Orders" button.
When you click on the "Get Orders" button, a pop up window will appear allowing you to choose which orders you want to focus on. You can either choose a specific date range, specific Etsy Order ID's, or Order Status'. Once you press the "Get Orders" button a window will pop up and let you know how many orders have been imported.
The imported orders appear in your "Order Processing" Screen. Click on "Menu" scroll down to "Order Processing." You'll be able to process them the same way you process all of your other Miva Store orders.
Once you've processed your Etsy orders, they'll be flagged as "Shipped" in your Miva Merchant store. You can update the order status on the Etsy web site by clicking on the "Update Shipping" button.
When your buyer checks the order status on Etsy.com they'll see that their purchases are on their way.
You can control what orders are pulled into Miva via a configuration on the "Settings" tab on the left. The Setting called "Order Import" has three options available.
