PayPal Smart Buttons

Overview

PayPal Smart Buttons is the latest update to PayPal Express Checkout giving you greater control over how the PayPal Buttons get displayed on your Miva Store. These New Express Checkout Smart Buttons intelligently present the most relevant payment types to your shoppers. Making it easier for them to complete their purchase using methods like Pay with Venmo, PayPal Credit, and local alternative payment types. Miva Admin control over the style of the buttons presented (color, size, shape).

Installation

All new stores setup post 9.12 with Express Checkout enabled will automatically get the new Smart Buttons.

1. Default Button Template - If you currently use Express Checkout and you don't have the PayPal Button template customized (most Miva Stores) when you install the 9.12 update, it will automatically update the template code to use the new Smart Buttons.
2. Button Code Customized - If you have the PayPal button template customized, the update will not change any of the button code. To use the Smart buttons you will either need to manually copy and paste the code below in your button template on each page it is being used or revert the template back to point and click mode and hit update which will change the template to the new default code.

Miva gives you point and click control over the look and feel of the Smart Buttons.
