The Review Baskets module allows you to see what products shoppers visiting your site have in their basket. It can be helpful when a shopper has questions about the item they are purchasing, or are having trouble completing their purchase.
Review Baskets is a module, which will have to be installed in your Miva store. To install, click Settings>Modules and find the Review Baskets module in the list. Click the Install button in the box.
After the module is installed, when you click Settings and click the “+” (plus) sign next to the Utilities header, you will see the Review Baskets header. Clicking that header will open the Review Baskets screen, which will show all of the uncompleted baskets in your store.
Each basket shows information about it in the Review Baskets batch list, including the Basket ID, the Basket Subtotal, the basket’s status and they type of customer. The batch list is customizable and you can add or remove columns of information as needed.
Clicking the Basket ID in the batch list opens the basket screen.
From the basket screen you can add items to the order or delete items, as well as add or remove coupons and discounts. You can also convert the basket to an order, and access the Shop As Customer functionality and delete the basket altogether if desired.
With the 10.09.02 update to the Miva admin, shoppers can see their Basket ID on the checkout screen. The Basket ID they see corresponds to the same basket in the Review Baskets batch list in the Miva admin.
This capability can be helpful if a shopper is having difficulty completing their purchase. If the shopper calls your store to ask for help, your customer service representative can ask the shopper for the Basket ID, and be assured they are looking at the same information as the shopper.
In order for this change to take effect, you will need to manually add the following code to the "helpful_info" content section of the Shadows framework.
